Fernando A. Almaraz is an Associate in the firm’s business department. Fernando graduated from the McGeorge School of Law. He has experience in the areas of water law and environmental law, as well as a background in financial analysis.
Background
During law school, Fernando externed with the California Farm Bureau Federation where he worked on issues dealing with the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA), Pueblo Water Rights, the California Endangered Species Act (CESA), the federal Endangered Species Act (ESA), and the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). Fernando was also a member of the McGeorge Moot Court Honors Board and was recognized as a Top Oral Advocate. Prior to attending law school, Fernando was a financial analyst and auditor for a large California wine company.
Fernando is a native of Merced and in his spare time enjoys reading about American history.
