Jerry H. Mann focuses on construction law from transactions to litigation and providing legal advice to a variety of business clients. He has extensive experience in all phases of the construction process from contract review and preparation, to handling bid protests and claims and disputes in both public and private works projects. He represents general contractors and subcontractors. He has represented many of his clients for decades.
Background
After graduating with Honors from the University of California at Berkeley, Mr. Mann attended Loyola Law School. He received his Juris Doctorate degree in 1980 and graduated cum laude. While at Loyola, he was a member of the St. Thomas More Honor Society.
Upon being admitted to practice law in 1980, Mr. Mann served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable George Hopper and the Honorable George N. Zenovich, who were both Associate Justices for the California Court of Appeal, Fifth Appellate District.
Prior to joining BMJ in 2019, Mr. Mann was a founding member of the law firm of Perkins, Mann & Everett, Inc. where he practiced for 37 years.
Mr. Mann serves on the board of the Associated General Contractors California San Joaquin District and volunteers for several organizations in the Fresno community. He is a member of the Litigation, Business and Employment Law Sections of the State Bar of California.
