Natalya M. Ferdinandi is an experienced trial attorney and skilled negotiator.
Background
Natalya M. Ferdinandi has established herself as a proficient and dedicated attorney through her extensive experience in the legal field. Serving as a Deputy District Attorney at the San Luis Obispo District Attorney’s Office, Natalya demonstrated her ability to handle high-pressure environments with efficiency. During her short time as an attorney, she has successfully prosecuted nine trials to verdict including a Three-Strikes case, a life case, and cases involving elder abuse, animal abuse, domestic violence, and assault with deadly weapon. Natalya’s role required her to maintain constant communication with defense counsel, negotiate dispositions, advocate for victims’ rights and engage in meticulous legal research and motion practice, all of which contributed to her comprehensive understanding of the judicial process and honed her litigation skills.
Prior to her role at the San Luis Obispo District Attorney’s Office, Natalya gained valuable experience as an Intern, Certified Law Clerk, and Post Bar at the Contra Costa District Attorney’s Office from 2019 to 2021. During her time, she conducted a misdemeanor DUI jury trial and participated in extensive new prosecutor training, which covered essential skills such as openings, closings, direct and cross-examinations, and victim advocacy.
Her early career also includes a position as a Coordinator with AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteers In Service to America), where she served the community of West Oakland at St. Vincent de Paul’s. There she successfully managed a job training program for recent parolees and probationers and created lasting community partnerships.
